OUR FACILITY

Dive into our bigger, better & state of the art facility. We are located in the heart of Sydenham, Christchurch. With multiple training areas, a light-filled second-story Reformer Pilates room, designated recovery rooms & more - you could say we have it all.

OUR LOCATION

    WHATS INSIDE

    • Multiple spacious matted areas with high-standard weights, kettlebells, dumbbells and barbells.
    • Multiple squat racks and big rigs.
    • Bespoke conditioning room for our SWEAT classes
    • State of the art equipment from Concept 2 Ski, Rower & Bike Ergs, Assault Runners & Assualt Bikes
    • Fun and safe free child minding area where the kids can see you training
    • Recovery Space with ice baths and infrared sauna.
    • Normatec Recovery Boots 
    • Weights area with power racks, pin-loaded machines, treadmills, cardio ergs (Ski, Rower, Bike) and loads of free weights. 
    • Separate mobility area with mats, trigger balls, foam rollers, bands and more.
    • Large, light-filled Reformer Pilates studio with 12 Reformer beds.
    • Accessible free parking on site and plenty of street parking close by.

    OUR ETHOS

    Hybrid Theory Training is a strength and conditioning gym based around expertly coached group training. We believe a gym should be a communal experience and know that getting fitter is better, easier and more effective when done together.


    Our programming is based around what we believe are the 4 key pillars of fitness; Strength, metabolic conditioning, endurance & mobility, with community at the heart. We have broken down the barrier of entry to strength and conditioning which was once only reserved for athletes so that anyone curious and committed about their fitness can experience it.


    Hybrid Theory is more than just exercise and fitness. It's an environment that aspires to empower the community through movement and sweat; that supports those around us and strives to obtain peak physical and mental wellbeing.


    Our mission isn't just to get you ridiculously fit, it is also to strive towards greater wellbeing, life and health.

    I'm absolutely loving coming to the gym. It's been a new challenge and intensity, but the workouts are balanced and targeted. I have made some great connections and have been made to feel very welcome. It's an excellent bunch of humans. You've led a great culture
